Stone Sheep

British Columbia is our province of choice for these beautiful sheep. The Yukon does have some good areas, however you will find most of the darker colored rams are taken in B.C. Throughout northern British Columbia and southern Yukon regions, we have selected a handful of premier stone sheep outfitters.

Most of these areas offer hunts with the assistance of horses, but plan on using some boot leather to get into sheep country! Stone sheep hunts are in high demand and many of our top outfitters are fully booked up to 2 years in advance. As with any sheep hunt, it is important that you be in the best possible physical condition.

Your ability to hike and shoot is as big a factor in your success as that of having a quality guide in a good area.
