Slovakia Huge mouflon are being taken in this wonderful Balkan country formerly known as Czechoslovakia. In fact, 7 of the top 10 mouflon in the world were taken here, including the #1 mouflon that was 43-1/8” x 41-6/8”. We hunt several different free-ranging areas where the terrain is not considered difficult. If you want a BIG mouflon, this is the place to go. We recommend a 6-day stay with 5 days of hunting. The rate (1x1) includes accommodations in very comfortable hunting lodges, or small comfortable hotels near the hunting area (15 min. to 1 hour) full board, full hunting organization, jeeps for transport in the hunting area and professional guide 1x1 + English speaking interpreter. Hunting is by walking/stalking and highseat is also offered. We also offer accommodations in an ancient Palace with 10-15 suites, nice living rooms with fireplace, classic dining rooms and excellent service with full board with table wines and drinks included for only $120-150 Euros additional per person per day. The recommended hunting period is from October 15 to December 15 with the rut taking place in November. We recommend that you arrive at the Vienna Airport and then be driven just 2-2.5 hours by vehicle to the hunting area. We can also arrange special traditional food, and local professional folklore groups.
