Romania has been synonymous with big bear for years as the five largest Eurasian brown bear in the world have been taken here. If you check the recordbooks you will see that 9 out of the top 10 bear were taken in Romania. But Romania has much more to offer.

Eurasian Brown Bear

Active mainly at twilight and at night, these large herbivores are hunted in the spring and the fall.

The pricing becomes a bit complicated because the European CIC system is utilized. To simplify matters, we have packaged nearly everything from arrival in Bucharest, except for hotels and meals as needed before and after the hunt. The rate includes a bear up to 350 CIC points. From 350.1 to 400.0 add 2,000 Euros, from 400.1 add 2000 Euros + 70 Euros per point. Wounded bear are charged at 1500 Euros; missed bear at 275 Euros.

Your 5-day stay with a 4 day hunt includes accommodations and meals at a hunting lodge, hunting license, veterinary certificate, translator, transport from the airport to the hotel and hunting area, field preparation of your trophy and a CITES certificate. Alcoholic beverages and gratuities are not included.

Carpathian Chamois

The top ten world records for Carpathian chamois come from Romania. This is really a remarkable country for top quality animals. The VERY best time to hunt chamois is in mid-October although hunting is conducted from August 1 to December 31.

Arrive Bucharest, Romania and enjoy a 4-day stay with 3 days of hunting and a chamois up to 110 cm. The rate includes: Meet/greet at airport, transport to hunting area, hunting invitation, veterinary certificate, hunting license, hunting organization, guide, translator, transportation in hunting area & preparation of trophy for export. Not included: Hotels before/after arrangements, alcoholic beverages, and gratuities. For trophies over 110 CIC points, add 200 Euros per point.

Stag (Red Deer)

The best time to hunt stag is during the rut from September 12-29. The rates vary based on the CIC system, which measures the weight and mass of the horns. For a 6-day schedule with 5 hunting days and for a stag up to 7, you are looking at 5,700 Euros.

There are add-on rates from there – but typically, the average stag is between 7.7 and 8.5 kg.
