The Last Frontier

One of the last true wilderness areas on earth is found in the far northern region of the Kamchatka Peninsula. This area is home to some of the largest moose in the world with bulls up to 75+” taken. There have been only a handful of hunters who have explored this region and this is your opportunity to join us on an adventure of a lifetime!

Clark Jeffs of Safari Outfitters, Inc. will be leading a small group of hunters to this remote region in September of 2004. Clark has led many expeditions into Asia over the past several years and is known to be a great travel companion and an experienced hunter. His most recent hunts have taken him into Pakistan (2003) and Tajikistan (2002).

Hunt price is $8900 from arrival in the village of Tilichiki (via Petropavlovsk from Anchorage). As with all of our hunts in this part of the world, we will be met upon arrival by one of our Moscow office staff and assisted in clearing guns, etc. in Petropavlovsk. From here we will travel via air to Tilichiki and from there into the hunting area by helicopter. All hunting will be done on foot and/or with the use of inflatable boats. Hunt will entail 8-9 actual hunting days on a 14 day schedule. Moose from this area are big…with a realistic expectation of 60-65” bulls (or bigger) to be taken. Hunt will take place Sept. 24 - Oct. 8, during the rut. Hunting methods will include calling and spotting and stalking.

Here are a few questions for you:

1. Are you adventurous?
2. Do you enjoy new and challenging experiences?
3. Can you deal with unexpected travel delays?
4. Do you get along well with other hunters?
5. DO YOU WANT TO HUNT BIG BULL MOOSE?

If you answered YES to all of the above, then you need to contact Clark today. (307) 587-5596

Hunting in this region could be compared to hunting in Alaska 50 or 60 years ago…untouched, pristine wilderness areas with very few, if any hunters ever going there! In addition to the moose hunting, you may have the option of adding a brown bear and/or wolf on a trophy fee basis.
