SANCTIONS:
The White House Executive Order imposing
sanctions on President Mugabe and 76 government officials will
have no affect on hunters utilizing reputable booking agents
and representing legitimate safari companies. We have
fully investigated this issue with our safari companies, the
Dept. of Treasury Foreign Assets Control, the U.S. State Department
and the US Embassy in Harare, Zimbabwe. Safari
Outfitters has documents and official contacts verifying that
our hunters will not be affected by these sanctions.
So, do not believe the “alarmist“ journalists without
first checking with Safari Outfitters---your trusted representatives
for legitimate, quality safari companies
Zimbabwe is also safe. Our professional
hunters and their families choose to live there yearlong and
not just during the safari season. We are in constant
contact with our partners in Zimbabwe (and all African countries
where we arrange hunts) and are aware of any potential problems
or hotspots. And, we are not bashful about contacting
U.S. or foreign governments if the need arises…it is our commitment
to send and return you from safe, successful and enjoyable
safaris.
