Nepal Long isolated from the rest of the world, the kingdom of Nepal is a sportsman's paradise. The breathtaking Himalayas of Nepal offer some of the finest high mountain hunting in the world. If you really want to experience the ultimate, consider a 15-day trek to/from the hunting area. Or, you can take a helicopter to a staging area, and then trek for a day or two. Hunting in Nepal has been closed for a few years due to political difficulties. New elections are expected to take place in 2008 and hunting will likely commence shortly thereafter.
