High Altai Argali
Considered the "Holy Grail" of sheep hunting, this magnificent ram is found in the West Altai Mountains of Mongolia. The hunting is challenging but is perhaps the most rewarding experience in the world of sheep hunting.
The encroachment of domestic livestock onto the wild sheep habitat has forced many of the argali into southern Russia. Mongolia has also felt the impact of severe winters the past few years. As a result, the quantity of sheep has declined along with the quality. Contact Gretchen or Clark for updated information.
Hanghay Argali
We have taken some remarkable rams from the Hanghay Mountain region. Our average ram has been 50" and over and we hope to maintain that average.
Gobi Argali
What can we say - our Gobi ram success is phenomenal with most rams in the 46-50" range with the occasional ram over 52". We have taken rams in the Gobi up to 57" - but this is of course is not a normal occurrence.
