Bongo

Hunted in the rain forests of Cameroon and Central African Republic, bongo is truly one of the most coveted and revered game animals in the world.
In some areas, forest hunting is conducted in the company of Pygmy trackers. This hunt is very exciting.  Hunting is mainly on foot but also from blinds. Bongo and forest elephant are the principle trophies.
Our professional partners in Cameroon have enjoyed the highest percentage of success in the business and last year was nearly 100% successful on all bongo hunts.

Bongo hunts take place from April through July and are from 13 to 20 days in length. Other species available are elephant, dwarf buffalo, sitatunga, giant forest hog, Red River hog, yellow backed duiker, bay, blue, white-bellied, Peters, red flanked and black-fronted duiker and bates antelope. Accommodations include comfortable bungalows with en-suite bath and air conditioning.
